Artist's Comments
This picture was taken from my dining room. The shutters are on bay windows. This rose is from the spray of flowers that were on my grandmother's casket yesterday. She really liked pink. As some of you know from my journal entry, she's where I think I got my artistic talent. This is in memory of her. The rose will eventually fade and wilt, but this picture will remain forever.
The inspiration came from seeing the rose and vase on my kitchen bar against the windows. God always makes at least a little something good out of something seemingly bad. Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers. Rose for Rebecca II -->[link] Rose for Rebecca III --> [link] |
